EIS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company, has acquired the assets of Tekra Corporation based in New Berlin (Wisconsin, USA). Tekra is an independent coater, converter, and distributor of specialty plastic films and adhesives. This transaction will substantially expand the capabilities and the converting technologies of the EIS Fabrication Division which currently operates from six facilities in North America.
