China: in November the manufacture of electric machinery and equipment was up by 12.8%

According to data published by National Bureau of Statistics of China and concerning the industrial production, in November 2013 the total value added of the industrial enterprises was up by 10 percent year-on-year (the following growth rates of value added are real growth rates, after deducting price factors), 0.3 percentage points lower than that in last month. Besides, in the first eleven months, the total value added was up by 9.7 percent. Analysis on different types of enterprises showed that in November the year-on-year growth of the state-owned enterprises and state holding enterprises increased of 9.1 percent, collective enterprises increased of 2.4 percent, joint-stock enterprises increased of 11.1 percent, enterprises funded by foreign investors or investors from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan province increased of 9.6 percent. Considering the different sectors, in November the manufacture of electric machinery and equipment was up by 12.8% (Y/Y) and the manufacture of computer, communication equipment and other electronic equipment was up by 11,3% (Y/Y). In regard to the output and growth rate of major industrial products, in October 2013 (the latest available data) the National Bureau of Statistics of China registered the following increases over the same period of last year: +3% for washing machines, +13.1% for refrigerators, +4.9% for household freezers and +11.9% for air conditioners.
