Panasonic has chosen to cover its TX-65CZ950 OLED TV – launched at IFA 2015 – with Alcantara. It’s an innovative material, made by the namesake Italian company. The coating with gray Alcantara makes the object a piece of design that can beautify the environment in which it is placed. Result of a proprietary technology, Alcantara is a material with excellent aesthetic, technical and sensory qualities. The material is realized with a sophisticated industrial process: the recipe is still a secret. The main features of the material are: strong, durable and eco-friendly (100% carbon neutral). Besides, Alcantara is versatile. Different versions can be made, sharing the same basic technology but differing according to a variety of combinations of the following factors: colour (with a virtually limitless palette), thickness (minimum 0.4 mm – maximum 1.2 mm), technical properties (water repellence, fire retardancy, breathability etc), surface options (printing, embossing, embroidery, electro-welding etc). TX-65CZ950 OLED TV features a native resolution 4K UHD, OLED screen and āblack level responseā, THX certification and High Dynamic Range technology.
