A new series of highly configurable cooking units and an improved range of entry-line ovens will be the Miele‘s highlights at the trade show LivingKitchen (Cologne, January 16-22). With its SmartLine range (induction hob, barbecue grill, Teppanyaki, gas ring or induction wok), Miele is setting design accents in the high-end kitchen. These units, in black ceramic glass, appear elegant and purist. At the same time, SmartLine opens up a wide range of combination options: all individual modules can be combined at will, including a countertop extractor. As regards to the ovens, greater performance, increased convenience and enhanced elegance characterize the new Active range. With a volume of 76 l, these products boast an extra-large oven interior. The machine display – with a clock, rotary selectors and touch buttons – has been the subject of an upgrade. In combination with the stainless-steel fascia and the black glass door, Active units have a contemporary and elegant style. SmartLine and Active appliances will be launched in spring 2017. In Cologne, the company will have 270 appliances on show on an area covering just under 1,000 m².
