On March 31st 2017 Ceced will organize a workshop dedicated to the testing methods for refrigerators and freezers. The event, co-hosted by Ceced Italia, will take place at IMQ testing laboratory in Milan (Italy). During the workshop, experts in standardization will present the new IEC performance standard, also in comparison to the current EN performance standard. Participants will be able to witness how refrigerators are tested in a laboratory and discuss what is at stake with the coming new regulations. “Testing methods have been at the core of the political discussions over the last few years – says Ceced -. In the context of the revisions of the energy labelling and ecodesign regulations for refrigerators and freezers, Ceced believes it is important that all stakeholders are well informed about this topic and have the opportunity to express their views and ideas to improve the current methodology”.
