Bertazzoni, Italian company specialized in the production of cooking appliances, is celebrating its 135th anniversary: a history of excellence that accompanied the transformation of the lifestyle with high quality products and design. The values that have always inspired the company (now managed by the fifth and sixth generation of the Bertazzoni family) are “Family”, “Engineering” and “Territory”. Founded in 1882 by Francesco Bertazzoni in Guastalla (Emilia Romagna), the company has evolved, adapting to the different cooking needs and drawing inspiration from the engineering culture and culinary tradition of an area to which it’s closely linked. The brand is a symbol of Made in Italy in the world with freestanding cookers, hobs, ovens and hoods. Bertazzoni operates in more than sixty countries and realizes over 90% of its turnover abroad. With an investment plan of about 20 million euro, Bertazzoni has recently boosted its location in Guastalla, where the headquarters and the manufacturing plant are located. In particular, the plant produces 200,000 pieces per year and uses advanced production techniques, borrowed from the automotive industry. “We were born and grown in a very stimulating area, well known for its culinary tradition and for its innovative engineering culture. Our products are derived from this excellence, that accompanied our long history in the cooking appliances field – explains Paolo Bertazzoni, CEO of Bertazzoni -. Celebrating our 135 years has a special significance: remembering our successes becomes a strong stimulus to face the challenges of the future”. The celebrations will continue throughout 2017 with dedicated initiatives, involving the countries where the brand is present, and with a logo dedicated to this special occasion.
