How did rice arrive in Italy? What are the most popular typologies in our country? What are the secrets to enhancing the characteristics of the rice when we cook it? A special lesson of the Faber Science Food Academy, dedicated to the anthropology of rice, will answer these questions. The lesson will take place at the Science Festival in Genoa on November 3rd. Allan Bay, journalist and gastronomy critic, and Monica Bergomi, blogger and creator of the blog “The Moon on the Spoon”, will be the protagonists of the event. The participants will know the story of this ingredient and will observe the correct preparation. From October 26th to November 5th, during the entire event, Faber will also be present with some of its hoods and hobs respectively at these locations: “Cisterne di Palazzo Ducale” and “Palazzo della Borsa”.
