The high-resolution camera installed in the interior compartment of the oven allows controlling foods in real time thanks to the full touch screen on the door and the sharing of information and images on smartphone and tablet.
It is no longer sufficient to control the household appliance remotely with few touches of the display of smartphone or tablet. In the era of the Internet of Things, the household appliance itself becomes a smart device that actively interacts with the net. This is the innovative approach that has led Candy, outstanding industrial reality in the production and marketing of household appliances with 70 years of experience in the sector, to implement the “Watch&Touch oven, multitasking, with maxi cavity of 78 litres in standard sizes for a food cooking also on more levels and Total Control Screen, fully touch.
The entire oven door becomes a real control panel with user-friendly interface and full touch 19” screen, which permits to set, to check and to supervise the entire cooking process of foods. With the support of video-recipes, too, preloaded and transmitted on the door, conceived as real tutorials that guide users step by step in the menu preparation up to the complete cooking. The section of suggested Cooking contains over 70 programmes with the best combinations of time, temperature and cooking type. The section of Personal Programmes allows, instead, creating a library containing personal and preferred cooking programmes.
The core of the new made in Candy oven is the colour high-resolution camera (5 megapixels) with fish-eye lens, combined with the patented U-see lighting formed by lateral Led lights positioned in the oven false door. To assure high visibility performances inside the cooking chamber, the camera is positioned in the upper part of the oven door, in order to permit the visualization on the external display of all five levels of the oven cavity without needing to open the door and then avoiding dispersing heat outside (action that generates a thermal shock and decreases cooking performances). Besides, it is possible to visualize the images from remote on external device (the smartphone or the tablet) connected through the App Simply-Fi, the Wi-Fi technology adopted on the entire range of Candy household appliances. Thanks to an accurate insulation, the camera can operate under all use conditions of the oven, high temperatures included.
The pictures taken inside the oven can be transmitted also on portable devices, according to the full integration with the corporate strategy of connection of household appliances and their manageability from remote.
