Three Italian companies and one Norwegian company have been selected by a jury of the Association for the Industrial Design to participate in the selection of ADI Design Index 2019. The selection of 2018 products, realized by the designers and architects Silvia Sandini (president of ADI Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige), Valerio Facchin and Michela Baldessari, took place on February 23rd at Progetto Fuoco, trade fair (held in Verona, Italy) dedicated to the appliances for the energy production from wood combustion. The selected companies are the Danish Scan and the Italian Kalon, Pertinger and Pob (together with Blucomb). Scan was chosen for the Scan1010 stove by the designer Halskov & Dalsgaard, Kalon for the Rivus stove by Angelettiruzza design studio, Pertinger for 100 reverse flame heating stove and Pob-Blucomb for Faro pyrolytic heater. ADI Design Index 2019 will do a pre-selection that will allow the participation in the 2020 edition of Compasso d’Oro ADI, a renowned international design award, born in 1954.
