Siemens has won 9 iF Design Awards for some models of the iQ500 series – ovens and fridge-freezers – that show a sophisticated design and an innovative technology, with precise and geometric lines and high quality materials. In the ovens, the front panels are made of glass and the lightControl is an example of design at the consumer service with the delicate blue lights that illuminate the various oven functions. In the fridge-freezers, Siemens has combined the technology for the optimal food conservation with an elegant style: the Side-by-Side features a linear and contemporary design, while the noFrost fridge-freezer expresses a timeless elegance, enhanced by black anti-fingerprint stainless steel. During the Awards, some studioLine appliances were awarded, the top line of Siemens: the iQ500 and iQ700 Series combine in an original way the satin black steel and the black glass doors, which give an exclusive and appealing style to Siemens’ premium line. “Our commitment to innovation is not just about functions: our appliances combine smart, cutting-edge technologies with a unique design and high-quality materials, for a clean and linear aesthetics – commented Gerhard Nüssler, Head of Global Design of Siemens -. We are proud that nine of our appliances have been honored with the iF Design Awards. It is an important recognition of our strategy in the field of design”.
