Panasonic has recently unveiled its major product developments for air conditioning at Mostra Convegno Expocomfort, trade fair held in Milan. For commercial applications, Panasonic has shown the Hybrid VRF system, smartly combining both electrical and gas-driven VRF to deliver highly energy efficient heating and cooling. Alongside this innovation is the compact yet highly efficient Mini VRF, which achieves an outstanding COP of 5.19. Another key focus was the company’s smart control options, including the new Panasonic data navi app which provides instant product information and service history details, directly to a mobile device. Panasonic also presented splits and multi-splits with the R32 refrigerant. A highlight of the booth was the introduction of a new wi-fi connection platform and new floor console, designed to meet European demands in terms of design and features, including Panasonic’s state of the art air purifying technology, NanoeX. There were also major product developments to the Panasonic Aquarea advanced series of air-to-water heat pumps, with models featuring smart connectivity and efficiency, ideal for low-energy consumption homes. New this year is the Aquarea Service Cloud which provides installers with reliable remote management capabilities, saving time, money and shortening response time.
