During the Mecspe trade fair (currently ongoing in Parma, Italy), the theme of the industry 4.0 has a great importance. In particular, there is the Digital Factory area (Fabbrica Digitale), which shows the new frontiers of digitalization for the factory (applications, devices, instrumentation and smart components for the connection of processes). Among the participants, there is also the company Rold, manufacturer of mechatronic components, which developed in collaboration with Samung Smartfab, a platform for the industry 4.0. Mecspe includes 12 halls dedicated to the various sectors of the manufacturing industry (automation, machines, molds and molding, additive manufacturing, logistics, quality control, subcontracting, digital factory, etc.) and proposes various conferences and special initiatives.
