ERP Italia, Collective System operating in the management of WEEE, spent batteries and accumulators, is transformed into a consortium under the name of “Consorzio ERP Italia”. Following the publication of the statute-type by the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Economic Development, ERP Italia has established to adopt it as indicated by the law. The law requires the Collective Systems to comply with a series of requirements, including the obligation to form a consortium and the adoption of the statute-type. ERP Italia will guarantee the continuity in the services provision for its members and will maintain all its certifications (ISO 9001 – 2015, ISO 14001 – 2015, Organizational Model Legislative Decree 231). Therefore, the change of the name and the further obligations – including the modification to the statute and to the composition of the consortium’s governing bodies – will not affect the services provided to the producers and importers of electrical and electronic equipment.
