Nardi’s relaunch passes from Algiers

After various circumstances it seems that Nardi, historic Italian brand of household appliances with sixty years of history, is really experiencing an important international relaunch thanks to the acquisition in 2017 by the Algerian Condor Group (leader in the country – with the brand Condor Electronics – in the production, marketing and maintenance of electronic, domestic & multimedia products and photovoltaic panels). A few days ago, an event was held in Algiers that involved local institutional representatives and the international press, and which has identified its leitmotiv under the motto “Come and discover the Italian Feeling”. All this resulted in the inauguration of the Hydra Nardi Store showroom, which displays about fifty products of the Italian brand (including ovens, hobs, hoods and cookers, microwaves, refrigerators, washing machines and dishwashers), as well as a collection of small appliances that will be distributed in 2019. Abderrahmane Benhamadi, President of the Condor Group, said that the «internationalization strategy launched by the Condor Group in recent years strengthens even more thanks to the acquisition of Nardi, a brand that boasts an important know-how in the universe of built-in appliances. Its 60-years history confirms the high reputation it enjoys in Italy and in different areas of the world». In turn, Marco Nardi, Nardi’s Export Director, commented: «We are proud to have the opportunity to associate our brand’s history, synonymous with Made in Italy and Quality, to such a prestigious Group. I’m sure that the commitment of all of us will allow Nardi brand’s development in Algeria, in Italy and in the world». The international relaunch of the brand, entrusted to a passionate team, is coordinated by Massinissa AIT SAADI, Managing Director of Nardi.
