The Permanent Design Observatory of ADI (Association for Industrial Design) has awarded the “Compasso d’Oro” award (26th edition) to the Spazio hood by Falmec. “We are proud to receive such a significant award: a great satisfaction for all of us; a recognition that collects many years of work and daily commitment of a group of people who collaborate sharing the passion for their work, with the collective aim of always improving”, commented Lorenzo Poser, commercial and marketing director of Falmec. Designed by Francesco Lucchese, the hood has a 180 cm island supporting structure, equipped with comfortable smoked glass shelves to store crockery or any other useful object in the kitchen in an orderly manner; besides there is a channel equipped with hooks for the organization of the tools and an effective LED lighting system for the worktop. Spazio is equipped with USB ports, electrical sockets (to recharge electronic devices) and a “tablet holder”. The hood also offers the possibility of housing a small indoor garden designed for the cultivation of aromatic plants. It features Circle.Tech technology with Carbon.Zeo filters.
