The new range of Beko washing machines (models WTY91436SI-IT and WUX81436AI-IT) focuses on the natural and sanitizing power of the steam (both before and after washing) to meet different needs. Thanks to the SteamCure technology, the steam is produced by taking or using the water of the washing cycle which is heated using the heating element located under the drum: in this way the steam power is released from the bottom of the drum reaching about 60° of temperature. SteamCure is compatible with several programs, including Hygiene+ which cleans and sanitizes. “At the beginning of the cycle – explains the company – the steam eliminates up to 99.9% of allergens and 97.8% of bacteria and fungi, without the need to use excessively high washing temperatures”. In addition, the stain removal program helps eliminate the most difficult stains, which usually require the use of aggressive chemical agents. Steam is also useful for making ironing easier and, for this purpose, the Shirts program allows user to reduce the wrinkles in the clothes. As Beko explains, at the end of the washing the steam eliminates up to 30% of creases. And for harder fabrics (such as duvet and towels), a special program allows to soften them, making them soft as if they were new. Finally, the steam helps to clean and sanitize the inside of the washing machine by combining the steam power with a high spin speed. Other available programs are: Pet Hair Removal and Delicates, in addition to the function that allows user to open the washing machine porthole and add any forgotten garment for the entire pre-washing time. The new Beko steam washing machines can be managed via Bluetooth through the HomeWhiz App and are in energy efficiency class A+++ (-10%).
