The 25th edition of ISSA PULIRE (international fair dedicated to cleaning, sanitation and integrated services), which took place in Verona (Italy), ended yesterday. The return of the trade fair live has contributed to restore confidence among the exhibitors after the health emergency. At ISSA PULIRE THEATER, companies and associations took turns. In particular, with regard to hotels and restaurants, the following issues were addressed: new models of housekeeping service management, food safety and the importance of the professionals who manage the cleaning service in hotels and restaurants. Another topic dealt with was the innovation in a context in which the service to buildings, especially in the area of cleaning and sanitation, acquires new value, becoming fundamental for the protection of the health and safety of each individual. Furthermore, the companies have highlighted the need to invest in the training of the sector operators and also in research and innovative strategies. “There was a need to give a signal of recovery to the sector – commented Toni D’Andrea, CEO of ISSA PULIRE Network – and I believe that the fair was the best opportunity to restart together. The companies believed in the project and created a memorable edition”. Almost 300 exhibitors and 10,037 visitors took part in the fair, of which over 14% were foreigners. With ISSA PULIRE 2021, the professional cleaning sector wanted to leave the pandemic behind, bringing at the fair the innovative solutions and products created in response to the health emergency.
