The production of household appliances for the professional sector, aimed in particular at the HoReCa and catering sector, increasingly requires high performance components and the ability to contain energy consumption. Starting with the motor. Meeting the needs of professional oven manufacturers is the Everel Group’s K42 motor. High flexibility of use and customisation according to the requirements of the various fields of application characterize it.
Fields of application
Everel’s production includes component types and technologies such as encoders, sub-assemblies, switches, mechatronic components, signal lights, motors, fans, and selectors. It targets the various industrial sectors of large and small household appliances, hvac, machinery, automotive, gardening & outdoor and healthcare. Regarding in particular large household appliances for private and professional use, Everel’s production includes components for washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, refrigerators, hobs and hoods with the supply of switches, signal lights, selectors and encoders.

Fit for the professional oven
Everel Motors solutions are technologies suitable for application fields that require low consumption and high performance. In particular, Brushless EC motors are characterised by high efficiency, low noise and high precision in speed control. GIEM, an established Everel brand, has been a leading supplier of shielded pole motors for over 25 years. Robustness and reliability characterize these products.
Part of the shielded pole motor solutions is the K42 family, a novelty for the Everel Group. The company acquired a part of production, expanding the market in the professional sector. Specifically, K42 motors are used for professional ovens, soft cooking technologies, plate warmers, professional refrigerators, freestanding cookers and medical devices. These motors are designed to provide performance such as resistance to high temperatures and harsh environments and long-term reliability. Other performances are low-noise operation, continuous duty (S1) for intensive constant load applications, and also a compact design. Key product features include 100 to 240Vac voltage, 50/60 Hz frequency and 30-50 W power, clockwise or anti-clockwise rotation and IP00.
Among the strengths of the K42 motors are also their high flexibility and customisation on demand. Thanks to an approach based on partnership with the customer, Everel provides customised product designs and continuous technical support, so that every time the solutions are optimised for specific applications. For example, parameters and technology solutions such as input voltage, customised shaft, wiring, rated speed and optional second speed, dimensions and attachment points, insulation class, certification/conformity, motor storage environment temperature, motor torque characteristic curve, electrical rating, insulation class, speed range, ambient operating temperature and motor temperature can be customised.
