Whirlpool’s latest launches offer innovations in cooking, refrigeration and washing segments. As for built-in appliances, the brand proposes the new W Collection Built-in Suite. It combines a refined design with a high degree of flexibility to adapt to any home. As for free-standing appliances, the new 2025 range of Whirlpool washing machines is designed to guarantee high standards of energy efficiency.
Whirlpool W Collection Built-in Suite: elegant and intuitive
This collection features sophisticated aesthetics and intelligent functionalities thanks to the integrated 6th SENSE Technology. It includes two types of ovens, an induction hob and a wine cooler.
In detail, the new W Collection oven offers high precision cooking. The functions open up a wide range of possibilities: from traditional baking to steaming, air frying and sous vide. The equipment includes the Food Sensing probe, with a self-supporting design, that guarantees high precision with minimum effort, for both liquid and solid foods.
The AllinOne compact oven, on the other hand, offers baking, microwave and steam cooking in just 45 cm. With a capacity of 52 liters, it has a particularly spacious cavity inside a compact appliance, with flexibility enhanced by the possibility of cooking 3 dishes on different levels at the same time.
Another innovation in the cooking segment is the induction hob with HeatControl and 6th SENSE Technology. It allows user to cook easily by setting the cooking temperature: from a minimum of 45°C to a maximum of 200°C, with 5-degree steps. Once the set temperature is reached, special sensors will keep it constant, ensuring that dishes are cooked evenly and avoiding problems such as overcooking or burning. The hob is also equipped with CleanProtect coating (nanotechnology), which makes it easier to clean the appliance. It is sufficient to use only water and a sponge, without chemical detergents.
As regards to the wine storage, the W Collection wine cooler combines functionality and aesthetics. With Dual Zone temperature control, it is possible to create the ideal environment for red and white wines, keeping the refrigeration constant in order to preserve the quality of the bottles.
The role of sensors in the new washing machines
The new 2025 range of washing machines is equipped with advanced technologies, made possible by the use of sensors. In particular, the SenseWash system, enhanced by Whirlpool’s 6th SENSE Technology, uses three smart sensors. They detect the type of fabric, the level of dirt and the size of the load. The ideal mode and timing are then selected for each wash. In addition, the AutoDose system with sensors optimally dispenses detergent for each wash based on the load. It also allows for a reduction in the amount of water needed. Whirlpool’s new washing machines are highly energy efficient. In fact, they are 60% more efficient than class A models. Finally, the company’s commitment to sustainability and, in particular, to the circular economy is also demonstrated by the drum, which is made from recycled plastic.
