KitchenAid has recently launched new tools for the kitchen. The latest solutions range from an accessory for making ice cream at home to new cordless products that complete the KitchenAid Go collection. Finally, the company’s long-standing focus on design has led to the creation of the Artisan stand mixer in the new Butter color.
Making ice cream with the stand mixer
The company has developed a new bowl (17.8 x 28 x 21.6 cm) for the Artisan stand mixer. It allows consumers to make soft and creamy ice cream in just a few minutes or sorbets and frozen yogurt. How? User simply has to freeze the 1.9–liter bowl for 16 hours, mount it on the stand mixer, pour in the ingredients, and then let the polyacetal whisk act. In particular, this component is designed for uniform mixing.
This way, the ice cream is ready to enjoy right away or can be cooled for a couple of hours to achieve a more compact texture. “All this – the company says – with the satisfaction of choosing each ingredient, avoiding preservatives, enhancing the favorite flavors, and creating tailor-made recipes”.
The bowl has side handles for practical use. Besides, in terms of materials, the exterior is made of ABS plastic and the interior is aluminum.
Two new products in the KitchenAid Go line
KitchenAid Go is the collection of cordless, battery-powered appliances. The range already included electric mixer, hand blender, coffee grinder, mini vacuum cleaner, chopper, and immersion blender. Now it comes to include eight small domestic appliances tanks to two new products: a citrus juicer and a Top Down chopper. In particular, all appliances use a single 12V lithium–ion battery (removable and rechargeable), which can be swapped between products. This system reduces waste, allowing user to purchase new products without the battery included.
As for the juicer’s features, the appliance has an automatic reverse movement. This extracts juice from citrus fruits of all sizes, from limes to grapefruit. The 473 ml tank is equipped with a precision spout. It allows user to pour the drink directly into the glass without splashing. In addition, all components (including the juicer, stainless steel sieve, and lid) are dishwasher safe.
The Top Down chopper, on the other hand, has a vertical design that allows user to work directly in the 0.83–liter bowl, close it with the lid included in the kit, and store it, eliminating waste and unnecessary steps. Besides, the product is equipped with a stainless steel S-shaped multifunction blade and a Quick Pulse control for coarse chopping. It allows consumer to chop, mince, and blend with precision and ease and is suitable for different types of food: from dried fruit to parsley, from sauces to purées. Finally, the components are dishwasher safe.
The Artisan stand mixer in Butter color
The new color of the Artisan stand mixer is Butter, a warm shade inspired by butter. “Butter is a tribute to the sweetness of memories – the company explains – and to the pleasure of things done together: a color choice that decorates and tells a story, combining design, emotions, and a desire for authenticity”.
The appliance has a galvanized metal structure and a powerful and quiet 300 W motor. It has 10 speeds, a 4.7-liter bowl with an ergonomic handle, and another 2.8-liter stainless steel bowl. Besides, accessories include three whisks and a dough hook. And the removable parts are dishwasher safe.
