Unox Casa, domestic division of Unox, was created in 2020. It brings the culinary performance of the best starred restaurants to the high-end residential market. The SuperOven, for example, available in Model 1 and Model 1S configurations, «integrates the high technology of the best professional ovens with an iconic Italian design. This is suitable for inclusion in the most exclusive kitchens», emphasises Matteo De Lise, General Manager of Unox Casa. «Besides, the oven guarantees impeccable cooking results thanks to functionalities based on artificial intelligence. Each function is designed to be intuitive and easy to use, thanks to a redesigned interface. It makes the kitchen flexible and also accessible even to those who are not expert chefs».
Innovation is the driving force
Innovation is the driving force behind Unox Casa’s work. «SuperOven – Matteo De Lise explains –marks the transition from the professional to the luxury home world. This through a careful redefinition of aesthetics and optimisation of the user experience, without compromising on performance. Both oven configurations allow for all types of cooking, such as grilling, frying, smoking, dehydrating, steaming or vacuum cooking.
Thanks to sensors that monitor the percentage of moisture inside the cooking chamber, food can be cooked perfectly and evenly. And three times faster than in a normal oven. The simple and intuitive digital interface gives access to over 400 cooking programmes. Simply select the type of food and the desired result, and the oven automatically adjusts the settings. Thanks to the integrated hood with activated charcoal filter, SuperOven keeps the air in the kitchen fresh and clean. In addition, the oven cleans itself with an integrated automatic washing system that uses a solution of water and environmentally friendly detergent patented by Unox Casa».
Conscious use of energy for the oven and business activity
The conscious use of energy by the end product is part of the Group’s entire business activity. Unox has implemented the Net–zero E–MIXION 2030 programme, with the aim of protecting the environment, preventing pollution and using sustainable resources, considering the purpose, context and environmental impacts of its activities. Initiatives include sourcing energy from renewable sources, installing photovoltaic systems, promoting sustainable mobility and also designing highly energy–efficient products.
«The SuperOven’s triple–glazed doors ensure impeccable insulation of the cooking chamber, keeping the doors cool and safe to the touch. Thanks to the professional–grade insulation layers and heat–reflecting glass, the oven optimises the transfer of energy to the food, accelerating the cooking process and minimising energy waste. In addition, to optimise water consumption, at the end of cooking, the oven suggests which washing programme to activate according to the degree of dirtiness detected in the cooking chamber. These features testify to Unox’s commitment to combining innovation and sustainability, creating solutions that respect the environment and also promoting the development of sustainable products and business model».
