IFA 2025 showcases the most advanced solutions for the European market. As was easily imaginable, AI and connectivity play a central role across brands and product categories in offering customized, optimized, and efficient solutions. The smart home is increasingly becoming an ecosystem where appliances are interconnected. Once again this year, there are numerous innovations: we will illustrate some of them.

An increasingly high-tech kitchen

The kitchen on display at IFA is an increasingly technological and assisted space. Connectivity, AI, and advanced features are now a reality, especially in products such as ovens and hobs. Among the further novelties is Miele‘s “M Sense”. It is an intelligent cookware with integrated touch controls and up to three temperature sensors. Combined with the new KM 8000-generation induction hobs, this creates a multi-patented system that automatically regulates cooking power for precise results.

In the kitchen environment, technology goes hand in hand with design. As regards to Siemens, among its new proposals the company is expanding its Matte Edition to a complete range of kitchen appliances, including venting and induction hobs, ovens, and hoods, to create a unified, elegant look. In particular, the new Matte Edition ovens rage presents intelligent features, such as the AI-powered food recognition.

Looking at Bosch‘s new products for IFA, these include the new Steam Drawer. Installed under the oven or separately, it ensures healthy steam cooking. Besides, it also supports dough proofing, defrosting, or disinfecting jars and baby bottles. Operation is simple thanks to LED touch control and the Assist function. In addition, when the Steam Drawer is connected to the Home Connect app, voice control and other functions are also available.

Finally, further focus is placed on comfort and resource savings. One of AEG‘s main innovations concerns its new dishwashers. Built on a completely redesigned platform, the range combines whisper-quiet operation (as low as 37 dB), A-10% energy label, and minimal water consumption (8.4 liters). Besides, with the ExtraSilent feature, noise levels can be reduced even further, reaching as low as 35 dB.

Efficiency, AI, and comfort for refrigeration

In the refrigeration segment, Liebherr‘s offerings for IFA include the FNXa 522i model. It is a freezer that achieved the Bronze Cradle to Cradle Certified status. It uses BluRoX insulation technology to attain the energy efficiency class A. Besides, the design of this product focuses on easy reparability and recyclability. Users will also benefit from a freezer capacity that has been increased by 30%.

LG, on the other hand, presents its new range of Fit & Max refrigerators. The new models achieve and exceed energy class A in the case of Combi products and are classified as class A in the case of Multidoor appliances. AI plays a leading role. The AI Fresh function, for example, monitors door opening habits for three weeks and lowers the temperature in advance when it predicts times of increased use.

As for Midea Group, among its innovations is the Space Master series. These refrigerators make use of every inch to offer above-average capacity. Furthermore, Teka and Küppersbusch, two European brands from Midea Group also have introduced a range of built-in kitchen appliances for premium and luxury users, including Teka’s Van Gogh Museum, Infinity G1, Neo Series, as well as Küppersbusch’s Graphite and Matt Black Series.

Washing: innovative designs and improved savings

In the washing sector, Candy‘s most striking new product at IFA is Multi Wash. This is a washing machine with three drums that allow different items to be washed at the same time but with different programs, temperatures, and durations. The product is in class A-20% and features the Multi-drum Integrated System for automated water and energy management with AI.

Artificial Intelligence is also at the heart of Haier products, including the Next Generation range for washing and drying. In particular, the AI Wash Sense system with 9 sensors optimizes each wash, while the AI Vision camera guides the user step by step. Besides, with AI Washing Memory, the machine learns habits and suggests the ideal cycles.

In terms of sustainability, Samsung has achieved remarkable results with its new Bespoke AI washing machine with A-65% energy efficiency. The product also features the improved AI Wash+ version, which intelligently adapts to a wide range of fabrics, including outdoor and denim garments. By detecting weight, dirt level, and fabric type, the new function automatically adjusts the amount of water and detergent, as well as the washing time.

Smart, all-in-one cleaning solutions

There are numerous new products on display at IFA for cleaning the home. Among these, Hoover presents the HF6 Turbo Sense. This cordless vacuum cleaner, equipped with the Floor Sensor brush, automatically recognizes the type of floor and adjusts its power accordingly. The product is also designed to vacuum both forwards and backwards.

Polti‘s latest innovation is the RollySteam floor cleaner. It is an all-in-one solution that vacuums, washes, and sanitizes without detergents. It combines steam cleaning, floor washing, vacuuming, and automatic self-cleaning, all in one product.
