The pushbutton switch series SXL5 by Everel, applied on cooling devices, has been approved according to the anti-explosion norm IEC/EN 60079 – 15:2010, paragraph 22.4 after the overcoming of the resistance tests in potentially explosive atmosphere.

The R&D team by Everel has worked at best to make the switch as airtight as possible through the application of an inferior closing plate and intervening on the mould to reduce the air passage between the plastic and the terminal metal.
