With this in mind, Hotpoint Ariston has launched the Délica washing machine and dryer, both featuring PetHair Care. This technology allows the two appliances to remove pet hair from fabrics. Délica washing machine: two extra steps added to the standard cycle
By selecting the PetHair Care function on the Délica washing machine, the standard wash cycle is enhanced with two additional steps: Prewash and Extra Rinse. During Prewash, the fabrics are wet to soften and detach the hair. Then, thanks to Extra Rinse, any remaining hair is removed more thoroughly than in a traditional cycle. This minimizes the presence of hair on clothes at the end of the wash.
In addition to this program, the washing machine is equipped with FabricCare technology designed to protect the most delicate garments. It ensures the correct distribution of water and detergent, reducing friction between fabrics. This ensures that garments remain in optimal condition for longer.
Besides, the ColourCare program preserves colors over time, preventing fading. “It offers cleaning results comparable to a 40°C cycle, but using unheated water (15°C) – explains the company –. This intelligent technology combines effectiveness, delicacy, and energy savings, thanks to a specially developed washing algorithm that guarantees effective washing without exposing the laundry to high temperatures”.
An additional strength of the product includes SteamCare, which uses the power of steam to freshen fabrics. Besides, the Easy Cleaning filter simplifies maintenance. Finally, the appliance is class A -30% and is equipped with a Digit display and inverter motor.
Délica dryer: steam also removes pet hair
The new Hotpoint Ariston washing machine is designed to work in synergy with the Délica dryer, creating a complete system. In particular, with PetHair Care technology, the heat pump dryer emits a jet of steam onto the garments and, thanks to the rotation of the drum, moistens the fabrics, relaxing the fibers and facilitating the removal of pet hair left on the clothes.
Besides, the new dryer is equipped with the GentleCare program, which protects even the most delicate garments. “Thanks to the inverter motor and specially designed drying algorithm – says the company – it guarantees perfect drying results at lower temperatures. The program prevents wear, shrinkage, and damage to fabrics, allowing garments to be as good as new for longer”.
Finally, Délica incorporates the Combined Filter, a 2-in-1 filter that makes cleaning and maintenance easier. Other advantages of the appliance are: the environmentally friendly R290 gas, the inverter motor, and the class A energy efficiency rating.
