Olimpia Splendid won the prestigious Good Design Award 2017 in the Household Products category for its Bi2 Wall hydronic reversible fancoil, designed by Ercoli+Garlandini. The international industrial design award is awarded each year in Chicago by the Chicago Athenaeum – Museum of Architecture and Design. The jury of the Chicago Athenaeum, which since 1950 has assigned the prize dedicated to the excellence in design, has highlighted the highly innovative features of Bi2 Wall both in terms of technology and aesthetic and functional solutions. The product will become part of the permanent collection exhibited in the Chicago Athenaeum. The appliance is able to cool, dehumidify, heat and filter the air concentrating all functions in only 12.9 cm of depth.
