Bertazzoni won the iF Design Award 2024 in the Product Design discipline, Kitchen Appliance category, with the Air-Tec freestanding cooker from the Professional Series in the Orange color. The 90 cm appliance contains three products in one (hob, hood, oven). The induction hob with 4 zones controlled by metal knobs is enriched by an integrated hood with a black painted aluminum grill, developed in collaboration with Valerio Cometti + V12 Design and embellished with the Bertazzoni logo in brass. A dedicated knob makes control of the hood functional: by setting the hood to the “Automatic” position, the extraction power is automatically set based on the number and power of the induction zones used. The integrated hood is equipped with 9 manual power levels, to which the Boost function is added. Furthermore, it offers easy access to the filters located underneath it: the grease filter and the activated carbon filter. Finally, two different air outlet systems are available, to satisfy every installation need.
