According to data released by Anfel’s Committee of Statistics and Market Analysis (Spanish association of manufacturers and importers of white goods), in January 2014 the segment of white goods recorded an increase in turnover of +12.61% compared to January 2013. The increase in units was +17.09% (+63190 units). Considering in detail the different appliances, refrigerators totally recorded an increase in units of +26.54% (+27.08% the refrigerators with one door, +19.21% the double-door refrigerators, +46,01% the side-by-side, +27.64% the combi refrigerators). Vertical freezers have increased by +27.44%, while the horizontal ones +21.49%. Washing machines have recorded an overall increase of +16.65%, but the front-loading washing machines have increased by +18.83%, while top-loading washing machines have achieved a decrease equal to -5.11%). The dryers instead increased by +14.80% and the dishwashers +13.32%. As for the cooking segment, the following increases have been recorded: kitchens +29.67%, ovens +18.40%, induction hobs +27.22%. The vetroceramic hobs decreased by -1,64%. The hoods have finally recorded an increase of +14.41%.
