According to data released by Anfel’s Committee of Statistics and Market Analysis (Spanish association of manufacturers and importers of white goods), in the period January-February 2014 the white goods recorded an increase in accumulated turnover of +8.04% compared to January-February 2013. In February, the increase in units was +42.058 units respect to February 2013. Considering the different appliances, only horizontal freezers, top-loading washing machines and dishwashers had a decrease in units in February 2014 compared to the same month of last year, respectively -17.87%, -4.06% and -0.88%. Refrigerators recorded a grew by +14.03%, vertical freezers +3,91%, washing machines +10.63% and dryers +22.90%. In regard to the cooking products, the hoods had an increase by +17.91%, followed by kitchens (+16.46%), ovens (+11.08%), induction hobs (+6.14%) and vetroceramic hobs (+4,61%).
