According to a survey published by Abinee (Brazilian association of electric and electronic industries), there is a growing pessimism among Brazilian electric-electronic industries about sales during the Christmas time compared to the same period of 2013. The research shows that 38% of the companies expect declines, 35% expect stability and 27% forecast an increase in sales. Considering the opinion of the industries about the sales during the entire year compared to 2013, 57% of the companies think that sales will decrease or remain flat, while 43% expect a growth (this is the lowest percentage from March 2014).
