According to the data communicated by Anfel (Spanish association of producers and importers of household appliances), in the first half of 2018 the market recorded a growth in turnover of +3.57% compared to the same period of 2017. Unit growth was equal to +1.44%. Considering the trend of the various products in the first half of 2018 (unit growth), the refrigerators grew by 2.98% (the side-by-side models recorded an increase of 33.28%, while the combined models saw a decrease of 4.16%). Washing machines achieved an increase of +1.04% (front-loading washing machines +1.30% and top-loading washers -2.34%). The dishwashers increase by 2.31%, while the dryers decrease by 3.09%. Finally, as regards to the cooking appliances, the cookers have totaled +8.08%, hobs +2.65%, ovens +0.86%, while the hoods fall by 3.11%.
