  • Factory retooling

UL offers a complete range of services to support manufacturers who are adapting their processes and factories to meet new needs. UL’s experts can review plans, perform on-site evaluations to verify compliance and conduct vital checks for critical safety issues as machinery is retooled and manipulated.   • COVID-19 regulatory updates for product certification

A new page has been created on UL.com to provide real-time updates and help manufacturing customers better manage product certifications and approvals. This page provides information about certifications and renewal acceptance; regulatory deviations, exceptions or extensions; and information about smaller markets and specific certification status.   • Use of remote technology to support the UL Data Acceptance Program (DAP)

The Data Acceptance Program (DAP) and Client Test Facility (CTF) program provide a means to accept externally generated test data in support of many certifications, including the UL Mark. UL has temporarily amended some program requirements to allow the use of remote technology.
