Laura Rocchitelli, President and CEO of Rold, has been elected President of the Mechatronics Group of Assolombarda, succeeding Diego Andreis of Fluid-o-tech. The Assolombarda Mechatronics Group brings together 1,748 associated companies with approximately 100,000 employees in the provinces of Milan, Monza, Lodi and Pavia. «I thank the President of Assolombarda Alessandro Spada and all the member of the board who have placed their trust in me and who have chosen me to represent mechatronic companies, in this difficult moment we are experiencing. I thank Diego Andreis in particular, from whom I take the baton; taking his work as a model, I will undertake, with audacity and courage, to contribute to giving a point of reference to our companies towards overcoming this economic-health emergency and making our voice heard in the dialogue with the institutions and associations of the country. I also feel this responsibility strongly towards the almost 100,000 families that gravitate around this important sector of the Lombard and national economic fabric. Anyone who knows me well knows that one of my strong points is training. In fact, I believe that a serious partnership between the business world and the world of education is essential for the true rebirth and growth of the country. I am firmly convinced that daily commitment, combined with a great passion for working, lead to great results and I will work, also in this area, to be able to offer all my collaborators, my “people”, and to the sector that I will represent, a path of constant growth for the next four years”.
