Ikona Maxxi Pure is the new Elica hood with integrated air purifier. It is a 2 in 1 appliance: the hood removes odors and vapors during cooking, while the air purifier rids the space of allergens such as mites and pollen, in addition to pollutants given off by molds, cleaning products and interior home coverings. Furthermore, as the company explais, “Ikona Maxxi Pure is the first hood with an integrated air purification system equipped with the Combo Pure Filter, a special combination of HEPA and charcoal filters that capture particles up to 1 micron. An innovative extra-feature, that can relieve allergic symptoms and possible discomfort caused by indoor pollutants, protecting household spaces and contributing in improving the overall atmosphere in the home. In addition, it has been designed so that the two different features can work separately, without compromising performance, hygiene and usability in any way”. Other pluses of the product are: the “Super Silent” mode and the “Boost” mode (in only 20 minutes the appliance completely regenerates the air in a lived-in space of 30m²). Ikona Maxxi Pure is also a lighting element. “With its 120 cm in width and timeless pyramid shape, it blends in perfectly with the rest of the dĂ©cor, as well as in open space concepts – Elica adds -. Thus becoming a refined lighting element, enhanced by a 7w, meter long, LED strip that efficiently and evenly illuminates the space”. It is available in black soft touch effect or stainless-steel finishes, offering a wide range of installation options: duct out or filtering, wall-mounted or hanging, with or without a chimney, with left or right sided positioning and alerts user when it is time to change filters. Thanks to “Smart Alert”, maintenance is fast and user-friendly: a LED light will alert you when its filters need to be replaced.
