EFCEM Italia, Association that represents in Confindustria the manufacturers of professional equipment for catering and hospitality and is part of APPLiA Italia, takes part in the Host trade fair by proposing various initiatives. Together with Fipe-Confcommercio, EFCEM Italia has conceived the “Ristorazione 4.0” project, which concerns the tax credit for entrepreneurs who want to renew their equipment by focusing on digitization and energy saving. Furthermore, during the fair, EFCEM Italia proposes a series of events dedicated to training and debate on the most current issues in the sector. In particular, on Monday 25 October the Association will present the results of the study conducted together with FIC (Italian Federation of Chefs) and with the support of the IXE’ Institute: the research concerns the knowledge levels of the Italian chefs about the terminology, equipment and new technologies. On Tuesday 26 October, however, EFCEM will present a survey conducted in collaboration with STUDIABO and concerning the trend of the sector and its developments during the pandemic and post-pandemic period. The sample of the companies that participated in the survey corresponds to about 75% of the total sector, equal to an aggregate turnover close to 3 billion euros.
