GfK: positive results from the Black Friday in Italy

According to the data released by GfK, in the week of the Black Friday 2021 the Italian Technical Consumer Goods market recorded a positive result (+6%) compared to 2020. The anticipation of the promotions, in the immediately preceding weeks, did not slow down the growth of the technology markets. The sectors that achieved the best performance are Major Domestic Appliances (+16%), followed by IT and Office (+5%), Consumer Electronics (+4%) and Small Domestic Appliances (+4%). The categories that showed the most significant growth, compared to the same period last year, are Air Conditioners (+44%), Core Wearables (+41%), Dryers (+32%) and Audio Systems (+ 23%, driven by voice assistants).
