Bluergo’s product range for the home appliance industry includes the PFC (Power Factor Correction) chokes. “They are particular inductances designed with sizes normally used for single-phase transformers – the company explains –. Their purpose is exclusively to improve the relation between total power (apparent power) and the power actually used (active power). This component reduces the not-active power and improves the production return and the electrical energy distribution”. Bluergo also offers the possibility of customized design with variables inductance and current values depending on the kind of functioning and dimensions requested from the final customer. Besides, the product design is available in three alternatives: open frame, potted, and co-moulded.
