SLIM’s micro spotlights represent an evolution in terms of light intensity and aesthetic appearance compared to standard modular panel indicators. Starting from standard solutions, the company has developed some models of LED light indicators at high light intensity.

A compact and efficient solution
For these types of light signaling devices, in 12V and 230V working voltage versions, SLIM use a small size and compact SMD LED. This allows settlement in narrow spaces.
The LED operates at full power. And the light is such that it visibly illuminates the required area ensuring several advantages. Among these: high luminous efficiency; low energy consumption; greater safety of the device which has a low voltage. Other advantages are: low working temperature of the circuit, which prevents overheating of the final application; and possibility of customization according to customer requirements. Finally, SLIM offers Made in Italy technology.

Design and customization
This micro spotlights have been developed following the market’s requests. They enlighten reduced spaces within the household and HoReCa devices: first of all the coffee machines.
Using a lux meter, it has been found that the brightness provided by these micro light indicators is more than ten times higher than the one provided by a standard LED light operating at full power.
These products can be supplied with cable or faston connection. By means of a resin coating process, they can reach IP65 degree.
Besides, the micro spotlights can be customised. The customization includes panel’s hole, thickness of the head and regulation of the light intensity. And also shape and opacity of the lens, the color of the light, and the type of terminals.
Fifty years of experience
SLIM boasts a long experience, accumulated over 50 years, and realizes a wide range of light signaling products. “In 1973 – the company comments – the interaction of six people, each one with their own experience in the mechanical engineering and electrical sectors, gave birth to S.L.I.M. At the beginning, the production consisted of neon lamps with glass bulbs and electromechanical switches. Being always sensitive and receptive to technological development, the company increased, already in 1974, its production line with moulding presses for plastics components, which led to a growth of the production activities”.
The following acquisition of VETO allowed the company to increase the production of switches. Ready to catch the market innovation, SLIM started integrating the LED technology in the production of indicators already in 2000.
