Samsung Electronics has expanded its washer-dryer range with the introduction of new 8 to 10 kg models. The new capacities join the 9 and 11 kg versions already available. This completes the company’s offering, making it possible to meet different needs in terms of space, habits, and laundry volumes.
The current line-up, now even more articulated and flexible, is designed to give end users the convenience of a 2-in-1 solution that washes and dries in a single appliance. This simplifies laundry management and takes up less space.

Besides, the ability to set washing and drying in sequence makes it possible to manage the entire cycle automatically, so clothes are ready to wear without further intermediate steps”.
Efficiency up to class A -35% in washing
The new washer-dryer range confirms Samsung’s focus on solutions capable of combining performance with reduced consumption, reaching up to class A -35% in washing. Starting from the 9 kg models, AcquaSave technology helps optimize water use during washing.
Unlike traditional systems, which load water from the bottom of the drum, AcquaSave sprays it from above through a special high-pressure nozzle. This offers several advantages. First of all, garments are wetted quickly and evenly, helping to reduce water consumption by up to 15 liters per cycle. By using less water, less of it also needs to be heated. This results in a reduction of up to 25% in washing times and a consequent energy saving. Besides, the detergent, dissolved in less water, remains more concentrated, contributing to optimal cleaning performance.
Finally, another strength is that, on models equipped with this technology, the Super Speed 39′ program is available. It allows user to wash up to 5 kg of laundry in 39 minutes.
Connectivity and Artificial Intelligence-based functions
Starting from the 9 kg models, Samsung’s washer-dryers offer Wi-Fi connectivity and Artificial Intelligence-based functions, manageable via the SmartThings App. Among these, AI Energy Mode makes it possible to monitor consumption and automatically optimize certain washing cycles. This helps reduce energy consumption in a simple and intuitive way.
Connectivity also makes the experience more flexible and personalized. Laundry can be managed remotely, notifications can be received, and the most suitable cycle for one’s needs can be scheduled.
New Anthracite finish
Alongside the functional innovations, Samsung has also introduced the new Anthracite finish. This is an aesthetic detail that enhances the design of the range and responds to an increasingly evolved way of experiencing home appliances. Not just efficient and functional tools, but also elements capable of integrating with the style of the home.
