Elba, a Made in Italy manufacturer operating in the major kitchen appliances sector, has recently announced an internal reorganization. The initiative aims to strengthen the company’s commercial presence globally and to develop its distinctive identity. Elba offers high-performance solutions on an international scale. “With this organizational evolution – said CEO Gabriele Garella – Elba is strengthening its operating model through a new integrated Business Unit, designed to speed up decision-making, leverage internal expertise, and support the company’s growth ambitions”.
The new appointments
Under the new organization, Luca Pinzi joins Elba to lead the Business Unit, coordinating Sales, Marketing, and Planning activities. The goal is to develop the business both in Italy and abroad.
Besides, Matteo Verlato, reporting to Luca Pinzi, will lead the Marketing and Product Management team, responsible for strengthening brand and product strategy. The company intends to leverage innovation, customer proximity, and consumer insight to support sustainable growth.
The goals of the new organization
According to the company, this reorganization will allow Elba to enhance its technical and strategic expertise, improve closeness to customers and consumers, and respond more quickly to market dynamics.
“We are ready to open a new chapter for Elba – comments Luca Pinzi – with an organization designed to support our growth ambitions and strengthen our position in the markets where we operate. Our goal is to be closer to the market, to customers, and to consumers, responding more quickly to the dynamics of the sector, while continuing to invest in innovation, design, and the authentic Made in Italy values that have always distinguished our brands”.
A history spanning more than 75 years
Elba boasts a long corporate history. It was founded in 1950 in Veneto (Italy) and is now present in more than 60 international markets. It has been part of the Haier Europe group since 2021, operates from a site of more than 54,000 m², and employs more than 400 people.
The company’s strength lies in the combination of Italian design, craftsmanship, and technological innovation. Thanks to an entirely Italian production process and a network of selected suppliers, Elba produces more than 300,000 freestanding cookers, ovens, and hobs every year.
“This new structure – explains Matteo Verlato – allows for a more integrated approach to brand development, product strategy, and market activation. By bringing these areas of expertise closer together, we can create greater value for our customers and strengthen the positioning and competitiveness of the Elba and De’Longhi brands”.
As part of its ongoing evolution, the company continues to focus on innovation, quality, and design. It has recently launched several new products: from the new 60 cm and 90 cm full-touch ovens with the EvoCook interface to the Carbon Luxe freestanding cooker collection in carbon, inspired by luxury hypercars.
