Sabaf continues its commitment to social development and sustainability with an initiative aimed at promoting the culture of safe and clean cooking around the world. In detail, Sabaf S.p.A. has signed a collaboration agreement with the Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA), an international organization supported by the United Nations Foundation.

CCA promotes access to clean cooking solutions by 2030, with the aim of bringing benefits to health, the environment, and social and economic development, contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

In this context, Sabaf will support the organization by continuing to develop advanced technological solutions that guarantee ever-greater combustion efficiency, thus contributing to the reduction of CO₂ emissions into the atmosphere.

“We are proud – comments Pietro Iotti, CEO of Sabaf – to announce our new collaboration with the Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA), an organization that shares our concrete and ambitious vision: building a more sustainable energy future”.

Sustainability: an environmental and social issue

The concept of sustainability encompasses various aspects and therefore requires a wide-ranging approach. This includes attention to the environment but also to the protection of people.

“As a global manufacturing company with a significant focus on home appliances – says Iotti – we place the highest priority on developing high-quality products while respecting both the environment and workers’ safety. Our collaboration with CCA is a natural extension of this commitment, stemming from the belief that sustainability is not only an environmental issue, but also a social one: supporting access to safer and more efficient cooking methods means protecting people’s health, reducing inequalities, and creating economic development opportunities for millions of people. At the same time, reducing emissions from polluting, inefficient cooking – still used by 2.1 billion people worldwide – helps improve air quality, safeguard health (particularly for women and children), and combat forest degradation and climate change”.

Sharing of technical knowledge and training

Sabaf brings its extensive know-how and market knowledge to this new collaboration. The aim is to achieve concrete goals, putting industrial progress at the service of collective well-being and environmental sustainability.

“Through this collaboration – concludes Iotti – we are committing resources and expertise, to support concrete initiatives where we can add the greatest value, such as providing technical knowledge and training on consumer research and innovations in energy efficiency. We do this because we believe that industrial progress must go hand in hand with collective well-being and environmental protection. We are excited to begin this journey and are confident that, by joining forces, we can create a lasting, positive impact”.
