Royal Philips has been recognized with a total of 47 awards in the 2014 “iF design awards’ product category”. During the award ceremony that took place on February 28 in Munich, Germany, the Gold Award winners were announced and Philips achieved 4 Gold Awards the broad for its innovations. In particular, these products have been awarded: Sonicare DiamondClean Black Edition, a special edition of Philips’ most premium power toothbrush, designed for sophisticated users seeking a distinguished design; and DesignLine LED TV (46”, 55”), that offers a cinematic viewing experience, with its ‘integrated glass architecture’ design appearing to be a single sheet of floating glass. “Our focus on design excellence and creating value for people shines through in the record-breaking number of design awards received – said Sean Carney, Chief Design Officer at Philips – Philips designers always strive for superior quality, form and sustainability in our products in order to meet people’s needs and desires”.
