Haier has announced the expansion of its operations in the Americas with the planned opening of a new headquarters in Wayne, N.J. in the third quarter of 2014. “As Haier continues to develop our footprint across the Americas – said Adrian Micu, president and CEO, Haier America – we believe it is important to establish a facility that is ready for the expansion. We are building an organization better suited to support our customers and consumers through a more holistic consumer-centric approach and the new facility will foster this collaboration”. Renovations are underway on the 56,000 square-foot facility at 1800 Valley Road which will be redesigned over the next few months. The space will include a new showroom, training centers and customer service operations.
