The iF Design Award awarded also the Made in Italy design, in the specific case the pyroceram hob N.ex.t. designed by brogliatotraverso design studio for the Venetian company Smalvic, which has produced built-in kitchen household appliances since 1958. It is a pyroceram hob with 3 gas stoves with crystal featuring 4 cm of thickness, characterized by a wide cooking area, electronic ignition and flame regulation, with touch controls positioned on the front, brass flame-spreader crown and professional flame regulation. A mix of design and high functional performances. A success of which is proud Paola Gasparini, AD of Smalvic, who interprets it as a boost to growth further in the right direction: ““We intend to go on manufacturing high-quality products, with high-level technological solutions, assuring noteworthy energy saving standards; we want to invest more and more in design, because the customization of our products represents an irremissible value”
