Data released by the U.S. Census Bureau show that shipments of the “electrical equipment, appliances and components” category decreased by 9% in the first quarter of 2016 compared to the same period in 2015. Considering the “not seasonally adjusted data”, shipments reached 27,519 million dollar respect to 30,233 million in the first three months of 2015. Besides, observing the “seasonally adjusted data”, in January 2016 the category achieved 9,745 million dollar. In February this value decreased at 9,452 million and also in March the U.S. Census Bureau registered a fall in the shipments that reached 9,318 million dollar.
