Miele vacuum cleaner 2016-096Yesterday, at its IFA press conference Miele has presented its new bagless vacuum cleaner as its most important tradeshow highlight. “The Blizzard CX1 is powerful, quiet and offers unsurpassed user convenience”, said Markus Miele, who together with his fellow board members Reinhard Zinkann and Axel Kniehl has shown new products and features on display at IFA. The Blizzard sets high standards above all in terms of hygienic disposal of the contents of the dust container. High cleaning performance combined with unobtrusive sound emissions is achieved through particularly streamlined air flow. And significant reductions in the release of fine dust to atmosphere is guaranteed by the fact that only coarse debris lands in the dust container. “Only at Miele the fine dust is retained by a highly effective, additional self-cleaning filter outside the dust container”, explained Markus Miele. Besides, the dust container and the fine dust filter are designed in such a way as to prevent any skin contact with dirt. Miele has christened its multi-stage, contact-free filtration system “Vortex Technology”. The particularly clean and hygienic disposal of dust from the Blizzard CX1 has been certified by the US American IBR Laboratories, one of the world’s leading organisations for testing filtration performance. The market launch of the product is scheduled for October.
