Electrolux’s ComfortLift dishwasher received the prestigious Gold iF Design Award for its innovative design, which allows efficient and ergonomic loading thanks to its lifting system of the lower rack. ComfortLift was selected from more than 5,000 submissions by a panel of around 60 leading design experts. The jury commented that Electrolux integrated a clever new function into the product: the lower dish drawer can be glided upward and locked into place, turning the act of emptying and refilling the dishwasher into child’s play. The AEG Mastery range of kitchen appliances was also recognized with an iF Design award. The ComfortLift dishwasher is available in European markets under the Electrolux and AEG brands. “It’s an honor to be externally recognized by international design peers in other industries. These products are perfect examples of the relentless focus on design quality at Electrolux”, said Simon Bradford, Electrolux Vice President of Design.
