In occasion of the Earth Day, which took place on April 22nd, InSinkErator presented its new Evolution 250 garbage disposal that can reduce the amount of garbage in the landfills. Located under the sink, Evolution 250 eliminates any type of organic kitchen food waste directly in the sink. There are no blades, but numerous hammers that perform high-speed rotating movements by grinding the food waste in very fine parts until reaching a semi-liquid stage that allows it to be eliminated. Not only the amount of waste in the landfills is reduced but waste can be transformed into biogas or fertilizer with a further benefit for the society. The appliance is equipped with SoundSeal system, that makes it silent, and Multigrind technology, with three stages of grind that offer high performances.
