The Italian way for Industry 4.0

After the overwhelming success of the 2017 edition, which has recorded record numbers – 45,817 visitors (+ 15% compared to 2016) and 2,051 exhibitors –  Mecspe, the trade fair for manufacturing 4.0 promoted by Senaf, tracks a report on the level of satisfaction of its public in view of the next appointment in Parma, scheduled from March 22 to March 24, 2018.
The new edition is expected to continue following the positive opinions of the respondents this year: almost 8 out of 10, in fact, judged their experience satisfactory, and 72.6% of those who had already participated noted an improvement in the event. Many opportunities made available by the event, considered useful or interesting from 74.9%, starting from the commodity offer, valued by 72% of the sample, along with the opportunity to get to know the novelty of the market (78.9%) and to visit Customers, suppliers and competitors (48.8%), as the main objectives underlying the participation. Growing numbers also exhibiting side, satisfied 74.4% for the quantity of visitors (87.1%) and quality (75.2%).
“We are in a good economic moment for the Italian economy, which is also involving the subfunds of mechanics and subcontracting,” says Emilio Bianchi, Director of Senaf. “The latest ISTAT data indicate a clear reversal of turnover, dictated by the growth in turnover Industrial output of 7.2% compared with March 2016 and, in particular, by the excellent performance of machinery (+18.3%), a symptom that the incentives of the Calenda Plan 4.0 industry are beginning to bear fruit. In an increasingly competitive and digitized market, the growing numbers of MecSpe are the tangible sign of this trend and the willingness of companies to be an active part of the ongoing transformation”.
And the project of “MecSpe – digital factory, the Italian Way for Industry 4.0” will continue the roadmap that began this year with the aim of crossing the strategic territories that are facing the accession path to the National Industry Plan 4.0. Three approaches to Mecspe 2018, dedicated to the combination of innovative materials and applications such as “Plastics and Automotive”, “Aluminum, Titanium, Magnesium and Motorsport”, “Composite Materials and Aerospace”, which will create moments of Debate between businesses, institutions and local associations.
The story of the “Digital Factory 4.0” themes will culminate in the three days of the Parma Fair show.
