Astoria Coffee Machines consolidates its presence on the Russian market by opening a branch office in Moscow’s Portplaza Business Center. For the Susegana-based company, which has actively been on the Russian market since 1992 with a thick network of distributors, this is another important step on the growth and internationalization path that over the years led Astoria to 140 countries and five continents with affiliated branches in the United States, France, Romania and Hong Kong.
Elegant and easy to access from a logistical point of view, the Moscow location is entrusted with providing greater support to current customers and partners, establishing direct relationships with key accounts and strengthening the reputation of the Astoria brand in Russia. A real strategic pole, which, in addition to commercial offices, includes a Training Area where coffee machines can be tested and training courses for distributors and technicians can be organized with the goal of establishing a network able to effectively support the distribution of machines across the Russian market.
A showroom of more than 200 square meters will be inaugurated in the coming months, which will also include a coffee shop dedicated to the specialty coffee and the enhancement of the quality coffee culture that Astoria has always supported alongside SCA (Specialty Coffee Association), and, more recently, as a strategic partner of Slow Food.
“The Russian market is a valuable high-level outlet for superautomatic coffee machines like our Hybrid and Drive6000. A growing market we wanted to oversee even more closely with our local physical presence”, commented Federico Gallia, Astoria President. “Astoria is a company that has internationalization in its DNA, while remaining well anchored to its geographical roots and the great tradition of Italian espresso”.
