According to WSTS (World Semiconductor Trade Statistics), the worldwide semiconductor market was up 21.6% in 2017 to 412.2 billion dollar. The year 2018 is forecasted to increase with 15.7% growth to 477 billion dollar. During 2018 the largest increase is expected across memory, analog ICs, discretes, and optoelectronics with all products contributing to growth. All regions are forecasted to achieve positive results in 2018.
